INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY

Department acquired a high-end Digital Subtraction Angiography machine (Siemens Artis Zee Pure) and became functional in January 2020. A dedicated interventional suite and 5 bedded recovery areas are present in IR. The Solero Microwave Tissue Ablation System for the ablation of tumors in the liver, lung, and kidney is also used. Both vascular and non-vascular procedures are at present done in IR.
