The department of Dentistry started working towards the concept of Dental Rehabilitation from 2015 Onwards. Prosthodontic services were added to the scope of services then. Till then only dental extractions and scaling were provided.

Divisions under the department : Currently, the department is going to be included under Rehabilitative Oncology. This novel concept aims towards bringing all the rehabilitative services under one umbrella. The patient shall be evaluated at the time of diagnosis for their rehabilitation needs and the rehabilitative care plan will be formulated. This included Prehabilitation, rehabilitative services during cancer treatment and rehabilitation (Post treatment)
More rehabilitative services shall be added in the coming years.
